Tony is named after a friend of mine who died. He was the Stargate SG:1 enthusiast in my life. After each new show we’d spend a whole shift talking about it. It’s something I miss. He’s also gay. Which was a suprise to me because he was Tony. There was a character named Joss who was the token gay guy, a bit of a princess that was in the original story. Tony took his place, less of a princess, and one of the guys.
