Talk aboot ab pain. It was nearly 50 pics. I also had to rewrite the dialog as well, for some reason I didn’t bother to make the scene fit with the rest of the story. I guess it helps to read the script before and after I write something. Strip # 141 Updated On 3/3/09 There’s always the big piece at the end. The suprise clue. So of course there’s one here too. A tattoo. I debated on how much reallity I wanted to do for the comic. I designed a custom sticker to give her those girly parts. But I felt that it would have distracted the reader. Of course a yellow body is bad enough. After I assembled the pics into the comic template, I realized I should have covered her. Strip # 142 Updated On 3/4/09 Of course you already knew who she was, so did Jessica. So no suprise there. But her position with the Rimminion government was more than just the head of the 153rd. She’s a princess too. Strip # 143 Updated On 3/5/09 Brain was a typo in the script. It was supposed to be Brian, but in a lot of the procedural shows I watch, there is always a smart guy in the lab. With Quirk as the odd M.E., Brain is the smart lab tech and helper. Of course there was supposed to be fragments and they are tied to Rimminion specs. The shooter is already known, not to Jess of course. Strip # 144 Updated On 3/6/09 Manipulation of characters in certain situations always seem to occure and they do here. But who and why is anyone manipulating Jessica? Go ahead and speculate in the comment box! Strip # 145 Updated On 3/7/09 Jessica is coming to the realization that someone is out there pulling her strings and someone is out there doing something that she is supposed to figure out. Good luck in figuring it out. 153rd: The Raven Hunter No.146 to No.157 Strip # 146 Updated On 3/8/09 The Raven Hunter. Jessica is becoming paranoid, and for good reason. The red and yellow cars are from the Hot Rod Garage Factory set which I got on sale after Thanksgiving 2008 on LEGO.COM. Cool cars, just a bit large. Strip # 147 Updated On 3/9/09 Something strange is going on. And it’s really hard to get laptops in these little cars. There’s a little note that can’t be seen from the angle shown, it says, “Det.Jessica Angel”. Strip # 148 Updated On 3/10/09 I used a differn’t laptop with these pictures than with the previous, they were shot out of order. Interior was shot before the exterior due to the location I shot these with and because of upcoming comics using the exterior of Burgatory. And the guy on the screen is The Raven Hunter. I have a great backstory for him, which will make for future comics. Strip # 149 Updated On 3/11/09 What? You didn’t know that Grudgel and The Foundation were responsible for the murder and dumping of Rose. It’s all been planned out by these guys. They also know something happened that wasn’t planned. Who is the Raven Hunter? Strip # 150 Updated On 3/12/09 Operation: Firefly. The removal of certain individules from Rimminion rule. Samson is a threat and they know it. Rose was the first now they have to hit the 153rds top level. And a test is always a good sign. Strip # 151 Updated On 3/13/09 One of my favorited new pieces from LEGO is the laptops. They remind me of old Mac Powerbooks, which I have 3 1400's. Only Mac people collect computers, they all work by the way. That's all for today. Oh, on a final note, I went to the LEGO store in Colorado and only spent $50.00, I could have spent more but I went to Toys R Us a few days before and loaded up. Strip # 152 Updated On 3/14/09 I had a problem trying to come up with a way to show they were in a virtual reality setting. The one way I came up with looked so cool but wasn't doable because it wasn't the look I wanted. But a lot of experimentation and I got something a bit surreal that looks good enough to show they are somewhere else, and it gave me an excuse to use on of my new Pirate sets.
