I really haven’t delved much in to Bob’s alien association other than casual mentioning here and there. The main reason is, I’ve never gotten past this point in his story before. Previous materials have a different story which was unaltered until a few comics ago when I began to create a larger story based on The Alternate Timeline stuff.

I went to undergrad in Grand Rapids, MI where there is a big bar downtown called The BOB (short for Big Ol’ Building). For some reason, I’ve been thinking about it every time I read this strip lately.
So what you are trying to say is Bob reminds you that you need to drink? You’ve become associated with his friends and enemies.
