On the left in the grey suit is F-1 and in the blue is F-2. I suppose I’ll give them names instead of character identifiers. And the 2 laptops are from the Agent’s line. Ah yes, General Nathaniel Grudgel. His last name is from a girl who broke my heart back in highschool. In the written novels where he originates, he’s abused and gives abuse. Finally, a bad guy.Strip #85 Updated On 1-6-2009 Strip #86 Updated On 1-7-2009 The Monoth? Who are they? I may tell you, but not today. Rose is a special character. She is one of two who were saved from the original comic I was working on before I turned it into this. She also has one of my favorite Lego hair pieces. Strip #87 Updated On 1/8/09 The Rimminion power structure. I doubt if I’ll ever actually get around to telling you it in the comic. So here it is. It’s a military based government. Not quite a dictatorship but if you don’t have their backing, it could be a problem. There are 3 houses of government. The military, the general population elected, and the business elected (who needs special interests and lobbyest if you have your own house). The Prime Commander is nominated and elected by the 3 houses. Majority votes win. But, the military can remove the PrimeCom if needed. The citizens are generally free, but certain restrictions are implied. I’d go on but it could take awhile. Strip #88 Updated On 1/9/09 To get the votes you need to control. The military is a powerful entity. So you have to gain influence from somewhere. And if there is power to be aquired you have to remove the road blocks. Rose, gets shot. This is where photoshop is really useful. I have some actions that do certain things and the they worked great for panel 3. Burgatory - I'm Gonna Be Late To Work No.89 to No.92 Strip #89 Updated On 1/10/09 The boys in there living room watching tv. Interesting tidbit about this set. It’s also the gate room, doctors office, the room where Vader and Emperor were walking amongst the troops. In the previous strips with The Foundation, the room they are in is right behind the couch. The hallway Bob is walking down is panel three is the same room they are sitting in with and extra wall and a door on the right side sealed off. This is the usefulness of the universal set. Strip #90 Updated On 1/11/09 The most heavily photoshoped strip yet. Simple layer effects on the first and second panels. The third is a bit more intestive, but the Wacom tablet makes it easy. And yes that is Darth Mauls Sith Infiltrator in orbit. And it looks like Bob has been here before... Strip #91 Updated On 1/12/09 Classic space guys and a hot fleshie chic. That’s Tyler of the Pudarie. She was the face on the video screen who was giving all the info on the crystal the 153rd has. The hair is digitally colored purple. And she does have a different face. I wasn’t able to find it when making this strip. This series of strips has a nod to some of my favorite Lego comics, if you can identify them leave a comment. And of course, there’s a joke about Bob’s intelligence. Strip #92 Updated On 1/13/09 These are some of the first minifigs I bought. The lot had 7 classic space guys. And you can tell by their helmets. This set is on another corner of the universal set. Also it’s new. 153rd - Foundation Pt.2 No.93 to No.95 Strip #93 Updated On 1/14/09 Look it’s Indy and his dad! Somethings wrong and you get tired of waiting, so why not lay down. In the background, you can see poor Santa getting held up again. See 1st set of strips, by the new Pirate wench and Captain Brickbeard. There’s another of the new pirates but Jonny is in the way. Strip #94 Updated On 1/15/09 Grudgel’s in charge and Rose is gone. What happened to her? Stay tuned. Hmmm, Samson better becareful, and what’s this mission about? I don’t know. I haven’t typed the words for the next few strips as I write this! Strip #95 Updated On 1/16/09 Oooooh. A gate mission off world, finally. And the cool laptops from the Agents sets. What is their purpose in this world? And what does it say about Bob and his work habits? Things are getting interesting? Strip #97 Updated On 1/18/09 Tyler is Bob’s girlfriend. As you can tell they don’t get to spend much time together. And when they do, something always happens, just a bit of insider info.
