Have you ever noticed that outsiders always seem to spot the obvious? And why did I have such a hard time keeping Samson in focus?

Strip #57 Updated On 12-09-2008
Once again the plot thickens.

The diner has gotten a bit of an update. I tiled the counter and tables to make them SNOT free, SNOT is acronymed for Studs Not On Top. And Sandy is wearing one of the many new hair pieces I recently purchased from Bricklink. And I love inuendo.

Strip #61 Updated On 12-13-2008
Just makin’ comments on Sandy’s new hair.

A recent trip to the doctor gave me this idea. I noticed that there were no clocks. I checked in and was in the doctors exam room before I sat down in the waiting room. I was in a windowless room for almost an hour. About a half hour in I opened the door, put a chair in the doorway and began writing most of the previous scripts. No one seemed to be disturbed.

Yup. I think Planet Green is a huge piece of crap. It’s so preachy and really boring. I had to remove it from my channel list. AHHHHHHHH.

My social commentary on how God and Jesus help athletes win a game. I figure if it was true, it was because they had money on the game. You know helping athletes win games and celeberties win award is more important than the little guy who just had his kid shot in a drive by. I’m done before I go on a really long rant.

This joke came because one day I was sorting my minifigs and had them arranged by groups. I noticed that all Empire figs had helmets except Darth Maul. So there had to be a reason for it. Old people.

Limp Bizkit and Darth Vader. How could you go wrong?

This was adapted from a script that was originally for Friction Fit Theater: Street Roddin. I am in a car club The ColoRODans, and this was going to a series of strips that was going to be added to their website along with this site. When I restarted the comic under the new direction, I adapted it for Bob and his pals. It worked better than I could have hoped.

The garage set used pieces from the Speed Racer Lego sets along with pieces purchased off of Bricklink for the original versions of these strips. The base is from a chess set and matches the diner.

The budget numbers I got from listening to guys who have built their street rods over the past year. It always came down to what’s it going to cost me in the wife budget. And the title has changed from Friction Fit Theatre to Genuine Draft. See the “About” page for more info.
