2014 Rails on The Rockies: Overview of The Display

The display was quite large this year. A modern downtown city with scenes from, “The LEGO Movie”, were assembled through out. An amusement park, Riverside Park, was created by myself and used push buttons to activate the rides providing kids of all ages some fun. A steampunk section featured buildings and vehicles by Lester, (who sets organizes this display), and a block of ‘American-Victorian’ houses. A western themed town along with a Spanish inspired village was created, featuring a western style military fort. An Indian village with casino was next to a replica of Bents Fort in Southern Colorado. It’s a fun display and had a lot of things going on that kept people interested.
